There are many ways a farmer can benefit from the application of IT in agriculture.Although there are many programs in this area we still have to go a long way in applying IT in farming.
We need to do serious research and spending in analyzing the weather condition and making it available real time to farmers,forecasting flood situations in real time so that farmers can save their crops,changing the crop patterns suiting to the environment to name a few measures.
Apart from that we can increase awareness among farmers about the different new storage and supply endpoints so that their produces really reach the market in time to the right person and is not wasted in the transit.
Environmentalists can use our systems and processes as a mechanism to spread awareness of the different programs to improve our environment.
