It is the cost efficient and flexible way of integrating development and operational tasks providing agility to IT. DevOps emphasises on the collaboration between developers, IT operations, and security teams. Opertaions include Administrations and Architectures. And the rigid boundary between development and operation is slowly breaking down requiring a new kind of job profiles where a developer needs some knowledge of the operation and the operation needs some knowledge of software engineering practices.
